He studied a Bachelor of Arts in Law and worked as an Attorney at Law in the public legal office in the University of Ciudad Juárez sited in the state of Chihuahua, México. He also studied a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at El Paso where he worked in the project denominated “Tri-County (Brewster, Jeff Davis, Presidio) and West Texas Rural County Detention Facility Project”.
He worked as a Second Grade Bilingual teacher for the Dallas School District. There he acquired interest for language contact, bilingualism, language acquisition and Second Language acquisition. Then, he studied two Master’s of Arts in the Linguistic and Hispanic literature fields. Now, he is working in projects related to these areas of the Linguistics.
